We’re walking on the streets in fear.
Every night we tell our kids there’s nothing wrong.
Our families break into tears.
These years, they seem, they go bye, they’re so long.
Tell me,
Why’d you have to go, and
Take them away, you
Left my family in the rain.
Your eyes, they
Seem like they are to crawl,
Your heart seems like it’s to fall.
It really seems like you’re to lose your mind.
They break our houses, they close our doors.
None understand what they’re looking for
In our lives.
They listen to him, thinking there’s nothing wrong.
It’s times like this where I wish
That I was gone.
They kill our friends and our families,
Our kids; strong; they tell us
There’s nothing wrong.
Our cats and dogs, it just couldn’t be.
We cared for them, side by side,
For so long.
Tell me,
Why’d you have to go, and
Take them away, you
Left my family in the rain.
This time I
Promise not to fall down.
I promise not to let you down.
This battle is more than just a war.
They put us down,
They break out hearts.
One guy, genocide,
Does it seem like there’s nothing wrong.
Tell me,
Why’d you have to go, and
Take them away, you
Left my family in the rain.
This guy; he;
A dictator who kills me.
This one man who deprived me,
I promised that I’d stay alive.
